Chef Al has been featured on shows such as Chopped, Food Network, Cutthroat Kitchen, the Today show and much more. and publications such as Southern Living, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun and much more. Chef Al has created award-winning restaurants in the Baltimore and DC- Metro area under the Alfred Restaurant Group. He’s Earned acclaim from two of his restaurants, Duck Duck Goose Baltimore and Duck DuckGoose Bethesda and was named Maryland Chef of the Year 2019 by the Maryland Restaurant Association. Baltimore Business Journal recognized Chef Alfred as a 40 Under 40 recipient in 2020 as a product of his personal success, business growth and philanthropic efforts that better
the community. He is one of the faces of the Visit Baltimore 2020 and has been a huge catalyst in helping restaurants and speaking out during the country-wide lockdowns.
